Garrido also revealed the truth about his differences with Hossam Ghaly, explaining that the team captain at the time did not interfere in his technical decisions, describing him as a disciplined and professional player.

He added that Ghaly had a strong personality and great jealousy of the team, which caused some disagreements with Wael Gomaa, stressing at the same time that he did not expect Ghaly to be the reason for Gomaa’s departure from Al-Ahly after he left the club.
