Al-Arish sea port received the humanitarian aid ship, Mother of the Emirates, as part of the ongoing humanitarian and relief efforts made by the United Arab Emirates to support the Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip, in full coordination with Egypt, and coinciding with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.

The ship, which is the 13th within the UAE sea bridge heading to Gaza, carries about 7,300 tons of various humanitarian aid, including food, shelter materials, and medical supplies and equipment, which contributes to supporting food security and enhancing the urgent humanitarian response to the needs of affected families within the Strip.
In this context, His Excellency Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Arab Republic of Egypt, stressed that the inauguration of the Umm Al Emarat ship is a living embodiment and practical translation of the continuous support and humanitarian assistance provided by the UAE to the brothers in the Gaza Strip, stressing that these initiatives reflect the UAE’s firm commitment to its humanitarian approach and extending a helping hand to brotherly peoples in times of crisis.
For his part, Major General Muhammad Al-Sharif, spokesman for Operation Gallant Knight 3, said that they received the 13th ship, Umm Al-Emarat, carrying 7,300 tons of food parcels and shelter materials, coinciding with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, as part of the ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the brothers in the Gaza Strip, alleviate their suffering, and meet their basic needs during these holy days.
Al-Sharif stressed the continued flow of aid in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership, and in a way that reflects the depth of humanitarian solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people, noting that these efforts come within an integrated support system aimed at enhancing humanitarian stability within the Strip.
The shipment includes various food parcels and materials to support community kitchens, in addition to quantities of dates, as well as Eid clothing, relief bags, tents, and health supplies for families, within the framework of supporting the necessities of a decent life for the most needy families.
The aid also includes various medical devices and supplies, including respirators, medical beds, tables and chairs, protective masks, and air purification devices, in support of the health sector in Gaza and enhancing the ability of medical facilities to deal with urgent needs in light of the difficult health and humanitarian conditions.
This ship comes as part of Operation Gallant Knight 3, which was launched by the UAE to provide continuous humanitarian support to the Gaza Strip, in coordination and cooperation with the relevant Egyptian authorities to facilitate the reception of aid and its entry into the Strip.
