The club’s first women’s volleyball team was crowned Al-Ahly Won the Al-Muttala League title, after defeating its counterpart, Zamalek, with a score of 3-2 in the rounds, in the final match that brought together the two teams in the championship competitions.
Al-Ahly Women win the Al-Muttala League title after beating Zamalek
Al-Ahly’s crowning of the title came after the distinguished performance provided by the Al-Mattala team under 15 years, which succeeded in defeating Zamalek with a score of 3-0 in the last match of the combined tournament to determine the Al-Mattala League champion.
The match witnessed a clear superiority for the Al-Ahly team, as it won the first half with a score of 25-12, before winning the second half 25-21, then finished the third half with the title with a score of 27-25.
Earlier, the Egyptian Volleyball Federation, headed by the Supreme Committee for Competitions, announced the official schedule for the final round matches of the women’s volleyball league championship in the first division, and the women’s junior league championship under 15 years of age for the 2025-2026 sports season.
Dr. Hassan Mustafa Hall hosted all the final round matches, which witnessed a four-way struggle between the clubs: Al-Ahly, Zamalek, Sporting, and the Arab Contractors.
