The technical staff of the team has settled Zamalek Led by Ahmed Abdel Raouf, striker Nasser Mansi was pushed into the starting lineup during the upcoming confrontation with Haras El Hodoud, within the League Cup competitions, in a move aimed at giving the player a new opportunity to prove his abilities after his absence during the last period.
The technical staff’s decision came after Nasser Mansi was excluded from participating in the recent matches, as he was not in the team’s roster during the Super Championship matches, and he also missed Zamalek’s last match against Ismailia Electricity in the last round of the League Cup.
Ahmed Abdel Raouf justified the player’s absence in the previous period with several technical reasons, most notably his joining the team’s leadership at a late time, after the Super League was officially approved, which prevented the player from being registered and participating in that tournament.
The technical director also indicated that he was planning to field the player during the last Kahraba Ismailia match, but Adam Kayed’s sudden injury before the match forced him to change his technical ideas and make adjustments to the method of play and formation, which led to Mansi being excluded from the calculations in that match.
The technical staff hopes that Nasser Mansi will provide the required addition in the Haras El Hodood match, especially in light of Zamalek’s search for more effective offensive solutions, after the fluctuating performance of the offensive line during the recent period, and the failure to exploit opportunities optimally in past matches.
