The streets of the aluminum city in Nag Hammadi in Qena Governorate witnessed the appearance of banners with the phrase “Pray for the Prophet” written on them, after the slogan topped social networking sites during the past days, after a simple image bearing the phrase was widely circulated through the WhatsApp application and other social media platforms.

The appearance of these banners came in response to the great interaction among citizens, as many expressed their admiration for the phrase and shared pictures of it on their personal pages, which contributed to its wider spread inside and outside the governorate.

Social media users confirmed that the banners were not limited to being a digital slogan only, but rather turned into a tangible reality on the ground, as they were seen on main streets and vital areas of the city, in an attempt to enhance the spirit of the call to pray for the Prophet among people on a daily basis.

Some residents pointed out that this simple initiative carries a positive message to society, as it combines the religious aspect with modern means of communication, which reflects the extent of citizens’ interest in spreading religious values ​​in a modern and attractive way.
