According to what was published by The Sun website, black pepper is the most prominent partner of turmeric, as it contains the compound piperine, which significantly increases the body’s ability to absorb curcumin. Research indicates that this mixture may help relieve joint pain and inflammation, improve indicators of metabolic syndrome, support brain health and memory as we age, in addition to enhancing the antioxidant properties of cells.
Garlic is also known for its anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties, and combining it with turmeric may enhance their combined immunity.
Experts point out that the combination of allicin in garlic and curcumin in turmeric may support heart health and strengthen the immune response, especially when consumed with healthy fats such as olive oil.
Preliminary studies indicate that mixing turmeric with hot pepper may contribute to improving the diversity of beneficial bacteria in the intestine, which is linked to reducing chronic inflammation.
