Today, Major General Tariq Rashid, Governor of Sohag, made a phone call to Gamalat Helmy Ali Mahmoud, winner of the Ideal Mother Award at the governorate level this year, during which he congratulated her on winning the award, wishing her success in what comes next.

The governor assured Gamalat Helmy, via phone, that she is an honorable model and role model for the women of Sohag society in particular, and Egyptian society in general, praising the great sacrifices she made during her life’s journey, especially in light of the difficult circumstances she went through, which did not prevent her from continuing her struggle and educating her daughters.
It is noteworthy that the ideal mother in Sohag is 61 years old, from the village of Awlad Yahya Bahri in the center of Dar es Salaam. She is a divorced housewife and has three daughters, all of whom are highly qualified. She began her struggle journey after she divorced her husband twice because he insisted on not educating the girls. She enrolled in literacy classes and obtained a preparatory certificate. She faced a lot of trouble in educating her daughters in order to bring them to safety.
The Governor of Sohag is scheduled to receive her in his office to honor her, following the honoring by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.
