Announce Egyptian Federation The Volleyball Association announced the registration dates for the 2025/2026 sports season, stressing that no club will be allowed to register male or female players during the second registration period, unless all debts owed to the federation are paid.

A new decision from the Volleyball Association with the opening of the second registration window

The Federation explained, in an official statement, that this decision comes within the framework of its keenness to provide the necessary resources to support the national teams, especially since a large portion of the debts owed by the clubs represent dues to the Tax Authority, related to the rates of contracts between male and female players.

The statement indicated that the Federation showed great flexibility during the last period regarding the debt file, and allowed players to be registered on the main lists during the first registration period, within the framework of continued cooperation with the clubs. However, the directives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the regulatory bodies stressed the necessity of collecting the federation’s dues, whether previous or current.

The Union confirmed that it will not accept any means of repaying debts other than cash payment, bank transfers, or bank checks payable, and no other methods of payment will be approved.

Regarding the second registration period, the Federation explained that it will begin on Sunday, December 14, 2025, and continue until Thursday, January 8, 2026, in accordance with the controls and numbers of enrollment and registration stipulated in the Federation’s regulations, and includes registration for local and foreign male and female players.

The Federation also stressed that the participation of newly registered players in matches will only be permitted after the second registration window closes on January 8, 2026, while emphasizing that it is not permissible to include any male or female player after this date until the end of the competition.

The statement added that opening the second registration door allows the transfer of male and female players even in the event of their actual participation with their clubs, through terminating the contract by mutual consent or official dismissal, provided that this is only in first-class clubs of all levels.

The Federation concluded its statement by emphasizing that loaning is permitted during the first and second registration periods, even if the player, male or female, participates with his or her original club, in accordance with the regulations governing the competitions.
