The security services of the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of a video clip circulated on social media sites, which included a quarrel between a number of people using bladed weapons and wooden sticks in Sharqiya.
Upon examination, it was found that on the 4th of this month, the Al-Husseiniyah Police Station in Al-Sharqiya was informed of a quarrel between a first party, 5 people, two of whom sustained separate direct injuries, and a second party: 4 people, three of whom sustained direct injuries – and the last party had a fracture of the base of the skull. He was transferred to a hospital to receive the necessary treatment, all of them residing in the station’s precinct, during which they attacked each other using white weapons and wooden sticks, inflicting their injuries due to disputes between them over neighbors.
The two parties to the quarrel were arrested at the time, and they were in possession of 2 white weapons – 6 wooden sticks. When confronted, they admitted to committing the incident as referred to for the same disputes, and legal measures were taken.
