A delegation from the Housing and Utilities Sector of the Ministry conducted… Housing Under the supervision of Engineer Nafisa Mahmoud Hashem, Advisor to the Minister and Supervisor of the Housing and Utilities Sector, and headed by Engineer Mustafa Al-Najjar, Head of the Housing and Utilities Sector, and some leaders of the Housing and Utilities Sector and the Ministry’s Governance Department official, an inspection visit to Beheira Governorate to provide technical support and follow up on projects within the scope of the Ministry’s work.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Housing, the visits come in implementation of the directives of Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, to pay attention to all projects and the Ministry’s work files in the governorates of the Republic and within the framework of the state’s direction in this regard.
Housing sector officials began the visit by holding a meeting with Engineer Fayez Al-Jundi, Director of the Housing and Utilities Directorate in Beheira Governorate, and discussing everything related to the technical aspects of the Directorate, including follow-up to the investment plan projects in the Governorate and all the projects that the Directorate supervises their implementation.
An expanded meeting was also held with representatives of the directorate and heads of engineering departments in the local units to discuss the applied impact of the building and urban development laws in Beheira Governorate, identify the problems and obstacles they face in applying the laws, and respond to all inquiries related to the building law and the reconciliation law in some building violations.
The committee went to visit some projects in the governorate, the implementation of which is supervised by the directorate, including (a project to renovate 18 units in the health insurance building in Damanhour, a project to develop Damanhour Hospital for Mental Health and Addiction Treatment, the construction of a public parking lot in the city of Abu Homs, and follow-up maintenance and cleaning work for a social housing project with 504 units in the old market in Damanhour and 2 residential towers in Abu Homs).
