Efforts in the Central District to increase the efficiency of parks
It resulted in the cleaning of the flower clock basins and the surroundings of the statue of Alexander the Great, and the removal of waste, in addition to raising the efficiency of cleaning in Bayram Al-Tunisi Park on the Corniche with irrigation.
Works were completed to raise the cleaning efficiency in Al-Silsilah Garden on the Corniche, in terms of: cutting the grass with a machine, cutting the safflower curtains, and removing the waste.
In a related context, the head of the Central District launched a massive campaign with the participation of the Utilities Police, the Director of the Road Works Department, and all departments concerned with the neighborhood, to impose discipline on Alexandria Street and control and regulate the frequent occupancy of cafes and cafeterias.
The campaign headed to the streets: Army Road, Al-Nabi Daniel, Safia Zaghloul, Fouad, Morsi Badr, and Siwar.
It resulted in the removal of all occupancies and encroachments that had taken over sidewalks and pedestrian paths, and the seizure of 250 various works, and they were deposited with the Utilities Police, in addition to the collection of 3,700 pounds in immediate fines.
The governorate confirmed that after applying the prescribed fines and issuing legal warnings, administrative closure will be imposed for a period of up to 15 days in the event of repeated violations, in addition to the imposition of the financial fines stipulated in the organizing regulations.
