The village of Al-Qanaan in the Edfu center in Aswan Governorate witnessed the derailment of the Deauville sugarcane train, without any injuries or loss of life.

Immediately, the relevant agencies moved to the scene of the incident, and the train was lifted, its route was modified, and its transportation to the sugar factory in Edfu was completed. No injuries or damage resulted.
