Great efforts over 48 hours resulted in uncovering the mystery of a mysterious crime that Alexandria witnessed, after the Azarita Corniche area witnessed the discovery of a dumped suitcase with a body inside it.

As soon as the Bab Sharqi Police Department investigation forces moved to the location of the report, it was discovered that there was a girl’s body inside a suitcase and cut into pieces. This shot opened the doors to a big mystery before the investigation authorities and security forces.
48 hours revealed the mystery of the crime
After extensive efforts supervised by Major General Hassan Al-Nahrawi, Director of Criminal Investigation at the Alexandria Security Directorate, and by the investigators of the Bab Sharqi Police Department, led by Lieutenant Colonel Ziad Khalifa, Chief of Investigations at the Bab Sharqi Police Department, the perpetrator was arrested within 48 hours, and it turned out that he was a butcher from Beni Suef who had come to Alexandria months ago due to disputes with his family over inheritance.
Arresting the perpetrator and details of his luring of the victim
Upon intensification of investigations, it was found that the victim was a girl suffering from a mental disability. She left her family’s home in Fayoum and fled to Alexandria months ago as well, and that the accused lured the victim to an apartment that he rented in the Miami area on Khaled Bin Al-Walid Street, east of the governorate, taking advantage of her circumstances, as it was found that the victim was suffering from a mental disability, which facilitated the process of luring her.
Illegal relationship and forced theft
Investigations revealed that the accused had an illegal relationship with the victim, after which a dispute occurred between them, as he saw a new phone and 8,000 pounds with her, so he asked them under the pretext of buying an apartment and marrying her, and after she refused, a quarrel broke out that ended with her strangling her until she died.
The accused placed the body inside a travel bag, cut the body to make it easier, and threw it on the beach after Friday prayers in the Azarita area after transporting him by taxi from the Khaled bin Al-Walid area.
While investigations revealed that the money was donations via Vodafone Cash after the victim was in a nursing home.
