8 people were injured, as a result of a tuk-tuk collision with a lighting pole at the top of Al-Awamer Bridge in the Gerga Center District in Sohag Governorate. The injured were transferred to Al-Kawamel University Hospital to receive the necessary treatment.

Major General Hassan Abdel Aziz, Director of Sohag Security, received a report stating that a tuk-tuk had collided with a lighting pole at the top of Al-Awamer Bridge in the Gerga Center district, and that there were a number of injured people.
The security services and ambulances moved to the site of the accident, and the examination revealed that: Badri Yasser, 13 years old, with a suspected fracture of the left leg, Amir Mahmoud, 10 years old, with bruises and abrasions on the body, Fares Ezzedine, 20 years old, with a double fracture of the right leg and suspected post-concussion, Ramadan Muhammad, 12 years old, with a suspected fracture of the left leg, and Ibrahim Rajab, 13 years old, with a suspected fracture of the right leg. Abdullah Muhammad, 12 years old, with a double fracture of the right leg, Marwan Walid, 9 years old, with a suspected fracture of the left leg, and Mahmoud Muhammad, 24 years old, with suspected post-concussion, and they were all transferred to Al-Kawamel University Hospital.
The necessary report on the incident was prepared, and the competent authorities were notified to undertake the investigation.
