The New Obour City Authority announced the launch of 20 commercial stores and pharmacies in distinct locations in several regions and neighborhoods within the city, as part of the agency’s plan to support commercial and service activities, and provide various investment opportunities that meet the needs of the population and contribute to enhancing the investment climate in the city.

The agency explained that the public auction session will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at exactly twelve o’clock in the afternoon, at the headquarters of the New Obour City Authority, noting that the shops and pharmacy on offer are distributed among a number of vital areas, in order to achieve service and commercial integration within the city.
The announcement indicated that the offer includes a number of 6 stores in the Al-Hurriya area – District 39 (formerly 2,600 acres area) under buildings (202 – 203 – 204), with an area of 16 square meters for each store, in addition to a number of 6 stores in Al-Majd area – District 39 under buildings (612 – 562 – 606), with areas ranging from 14.50 square meters to 20.14 square meters.
The offering also includes two stores in the Al-Yaqout Buildings area – District 14, one in Commercial Market No. 54 with an area of 20.72 square metres, and the other in Commercial Market No. 55 with an area of 31.80 square metres, in addition to offering a number of 3 stores and a pharmacy in the Al-Bustan area – District 16 in Commercial Market No. 18, with areas ranging from 20 to 39.50 square metres.
The offering also includes two stores in the Sakan Misr area – District 39 in Commercial Market No. 14, with areas ranging from 19.50 to 20.57 square metres, in addition to one store in Al Karama area – District 39 in Commercial Market No. (5) with an area of 20 square metres.
The agency explained that the terms and specifications document is required from the agency’s headquarters in exchange for payment of only 299 pounds for each store or pharmacy, along with payment of an auction entry deposit of 50,000 pounds for each store, and 100,000 pounds for the pharmacy, at the end of the auction session. The person who wins the auction is also obligated to pay 10% administrative expenses and 0.5% for the benefit of the Board of Trustees of the total sales value immediately after the auction is awarded, in addition to the scheduled maintenance expenses.
The agency confirmed that payment of the remainder of the value of the shops or pharmacy will be made through easy installment systems according to what is specified in the conditions document, with live inspection available for those wishing to enter the auction during official working hours, pointing out that the auction is subject to the provisions of Law No. 182 of 2018 and its executive regulations.
In this context, Engineer Mahmoud Murad, Head of the New Obour City Authority, stated that the Authority continues to offer diverse and attractive investment opportunities that contribute to stimulating economic activity and providing integrated services to the city’s residents, stressing that these proposals come within the framework of the state’s vision to support investment, maximize the use of assets, and achieve balanced and sustainable urban development in the New Obour City.
