A short while ago, 5 people from one family in the city of Damanhour, the capital of Beheira Governorate, fainted and vomited as a result of a heater gas leak inside their home. The injured were transferred to Damanhour Teaching Hospital to receive treatment, and a report was issued regarding the incident.
Five members of one family suffered from fainting and vomiting due to a heater gas leak in Damanhour
The security services of the Beheira Security Directorate received a notification from the warden of the Damanhour Police Department, stating that: Ibrahim Y.A., 43 years old, and his wife Heba H.K., 37 years old, a housewife, and their children Iyad, 12 years old, Adam, 11 years old, and Moaz, 5 years old, had arrived at the general hospital, residing under the upper bridge in the city of Damanhour, suffering from vomiting and fainting, alleging a gas leak inside the house.
Upon transportation, examination, and questioning of the injured, they determined that they had suffered from vomiting and fainting as a result of inhaling gas from a gas heater. The local unit of the center and city of Damanhour and the gas company were notified to take action. A report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the investigating authorities were notified, which began investigations into the incident to determine its causes and circumstances.
