The Ministry of Health and Population announced the provision of 4,698 various medical services during the second and third days of Eid al-Fitr 2026, as part of the medical insurance plan for the celebrations, to ensure the provision of urgent health care in places of gatherings and public parks.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry, explained that the medical convoys spread to 26 locations in various governorates, including public parks, train stations, and places of large gatherings, where 1,547 citizens were medically examined.

The services provided included comprehensive medical examinations, measuring blood pressure and sugar levels, initial emergency services, and specialized medical consultations.
Dr. Muhammad Ghobashi, Director of the General Administration of Medical Convoys, pointed out that medicines were dispensed free of charge to 1,476 cases according to medical diagnosis, to ensure immediate treatment without any financial burdens on citizens.

The Ministry confirms the continued readiness of field medical teams and the spread of convoys in various governorates, to provide health services efficiently and quickly during holiday periods and events, which reflects the health system’s commitment to facilitating access to medical care in places of large gatherings.
