Three people, including children, suffered bruises, abrasions, and various fractures, following the collapse of the balcony of an old house in the village of Benofar, affiliated with the center and city of Kafr El-Zayat in Gharbia Governorate. The injured were transferred to Kafr El-Zayat General Hospital in order to receive the necessary treatment.

3 people were injured after a balcony collapsed in Gharbia

The beginning was when the security services in the Gharbia Security Directorate received a notification from the warden of Kafr El-Zayat Police Station stating that a report had been received from the residents that the balcony of one of the old houses in the village of Benouf had collapsed, resulting in the injury of 3 people.

Immediately, a security force from the Criminal Investigation Department, headed by Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Shiha, Chief of Investigations at the Kafr El-Zayat Police Station, and ambulances moved to the scene of the incident, as well as the executive agencies of the General Office of the Presidency of the Center and the city of Kafr El-Zayat. A security cordon was imposed around the area, and the initial investigations and inspection revealed that 3 people, including children, were injured with bruises, abrasions, and fractures, as a result of the sudden collapse of the balcony of an old house in the village of Benofar, affiliated with the Center Department.

The injured were transferred to Kafr El-Zayat General Hospital, to receive the necessary treatment and first aid. The necessary legal measures were taken regarding this incident and the Public Prosecution was notified to investigate the matter.
