In conjunction with the launch of the Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, Nothing unveiled the new Headphones (a), which represent the company’s first attempt to offer affordable over-ear headphones within its brand.

The headphones are available in four colors: pink, yellow, white and black, while the company places special emphasis on long battery life. Nothing announces that the headphones are able to work up to 135 hours on a single charge, which is a remarkable number in this category. A quick charge of just five minutes allows for up to five hours of music playback.

The headphones weigh 310 grams and come with ear cushions made of memory foam to increase comfort during long-term use, in addition to receiving an IP52 rating for resistance to dust and sweat splashes.

In terms of control, Headphone (a) relies on the same button system that the company introduced with Headphones (1) last year, and it consists of Roller, Paddle, and Button elements, which allow controlling the volume, moving between music clips, and changing noise isolation modes easily without relying on touch.

The Button can perform additional tasks, such as using it as a remote trigger for the phone’s camera. The headphones also support the Channel Hop feature, which allows quick switching between favorite applications or functions with one click.

In terms of sound, the headphones support Hi-Resolution Audio Wireless certification with high-quality LDAC encoding, and rely on 40 mm diameter audio drivers covered with a layer of titanium to deliver powerful sound while reducing distortion. It also provides three different modes of active noise isolation (ANC), along with three dedicated microphones to improve call quality.

Users can customize the audio experience via the Nothing

The Nothing Headphone (a) headphones are scheduled to be released on the market starting March 13 in white, black and pink colors at a price of 149 British pounds, 199 dollars or 159 euros, with the limited yellow version arriving on April 6.
