Casio is preparing to launch three new hybrid watches within the Vintage AQ-240E series during April 2026 to provide elegant options for users. These innovative watches are characterized by a classic design that combines a square-shaped dial in soft pastel colors and soft circular edges. They come inside a case made of chrome-plated resin with a shiny silver color to add an aesthetic touch that suits different tastes and meets the aspirations of lovers of watches with an antique and compact character.
Casio offers three different models, including the AQ-240E-2A with a light blue dial, the AQ-240E-4A with a matte orange dial, and the AQ-240E-7A2 with an off-white dial. All of these versions come in an ultra-thin body with dimensions of 40.9 x 35.8 x 8.1 mm and a weight of only 51 grams. They include a narrow digital display carefully placed at the six o’clock position along with two analog hands to provide a dual and easy time reading experience.
These hybrid watches rely on the advanced Module 5154 to provide accurate and reliable performance at all times. This unit supports the feature of displaying dual time zones to suit people who are constantly on the move, and includes a set of practical and very useful tools in daily life, such as a daily alarm, hourly time signals, and a precise stopwatch capable of measuring time in parts up to 1/100 of a second to meet sports needs.
This new version provides great flexibility to users through the ability to choose between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats according to personal preference. The watches feature a fully automatic calendar to ensure that the date is displayed accurately without the need for any manual adjustments, while they are designed to be water-resistant to withstand normal daily uses such as washing hands or exposure to raindrops, with a powerful battery that provides an expected lifespan of up to two full years.
Reports issued by the Vietnamese Belo store indicate that these watches will be officially launched in Japan during the month of April 2026. They are expected to arrive in Vietnam at a later time at a price of 2,520,000 Vietnamese dong, equivalent to about 96 US dollars, while the French store David et Ville has listed these models as upcoming releases in May 2026 at a price of 59.50 euros, which is the same price as the older versions, to provide excellent economical options.
