iQOO officially announced the iQOO 15 Ultra phone, the first phone from the company to be equipped with an active cooling fan, and the first device bearing the “Ultra” title in the series.

The phone works with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, in addition to the Ice Dome cooling system, which relies on a large fan to improve thermal performance during intensive use and gaming.

iQOO provided the phone with ultra-fast LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage, in addition to the Q3 chip dedicated to gaming to improve graphics and frame rates. The experience was also supported by 600 Hz shoulder triggers, dual vibration motors, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, with a rear RGB bar for gaming enthusiasts.

The company provided a 6.85-inch OLED screen with a frequency of 144 Hz and a high brightness of up to 2600 nits, with support for advanced HDR technologies and a high touch rate intended for gaming.

iQOO relied on a huge 7400 mAh battery with 100W fast charging and 40W wireless charging, which gives the phone long endurance with a high recharging speed.

As for the cameras, it provided a 50-megapixel triple system for the main camera, a 3x zoom lens, and a wide lens, in addition to a 32-megapixel front camera. Despite the presence of a cooling fan, the phone has a water and dust resistance rating of IP68 and IP69.

The iQOO 15 Ultra is currently available for pre-order in China in two colors, silver and black, with several memory and storage options, while the global launch date has not yet been confirmed.
