Samsung announced the world’s first 130-inch Micro RGB TV at CES 2026, the model codenamed R95H. This TV supports 100% full coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut, which the company describes as the widest color gamut currently available in consumer TVs.

The R95H relies on Samsung’s Micro RGB display system, where red, green and blue LEDs generate colors directly, without relying on white backlighting or color filters.

This approach allows for finer control of colors and brightness levels across the entire 130-inch screen area. Samsung confirmed that the screen has obtained the VDE certification for color accuracy, in a step that reinforces its claims regarding the quality of color reproduction.

The image processing unit is the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, along with the Micro RGB Color Booster Pro and Micro RGB HDR Pro technologies.

These systems manage contrast, brightness, and color distribution in real time, while employing artificial intelligence to improve details in dark areas, maintain clarity of bright scenes, and ensure color stability in different lighting conditions. The TV also supports the HDR10+ Advanced standard for scene-by-scene HDR adjustments.

In terms of design, Samsung used what it calls Timeless Frame, a design inspired by the idea of an artistic frame to make the screen look more like a large window instead of a traditional TV, despite its huge size. The company integrated the speakers within the frame itself, adjusting the sound to fit the dimensions of the screen and giving an auditory experience more in line with the displayed content.

The panel also features a special Samsung coating to reduce reflections and glare, which helps maintain contrast and color depth in brightly lit rooms, a crucial point with large screens.

On the software level, the TV works with the updated Vision AI Companion system, which provides interactive voice search, smart content recommendations, along with features such as AI Football Mode Pro, Live Translate, and Generative Wallpaper.

It also supports integration with services such as Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity. Audio features include support for Eclipsa Audio, designed to deliver an immersive audio experience that fits the screen size.

Samsung is displaying a 130-inch Micro RGB TV in its pavilion at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, without yet revealing details of the price or date of availability in the market.
