Samsung has launched a new application on Android that helps temporarily relieve motion sickness via earphones, based on the results of a Japanese study from Nagoya University.
The application, called Hearapy, relies on playing a sound wave with a frequency of 100 Hz and a sound level ranging between 75 and 85 decibels. This wave contributes to stimulating the balance system inside the ear, which helps reduce the feeling of dizziness.

The application can be used primarily with Galaxy Buds4 Pro headphones, with the possibility of trying it on other headphones, although the results may vary depending on the type of device used.
According to the idea, it is enough to listen to this wave for one minute to obtain an effect that may last up to two hours, with the possibility of repeating use when needed, provided that the volume level is adjusted to be audible without being annoying.
