Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 phones in global markets very soon, as expectations indicate that they may be unveiled during this month. Before the official launch date, new leaks appeared revealing details of the prices of both phones in the euro area, which gives a strong indication of the company’s intention to approve price increases compared to the previous generation.
Leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore shared pricing details that appear to be leaked from a retailer. The leaks indicated that the Galaxy A37 phone will be available in two options, the first comes with 6 GB random memory and 128 GB storage space at a price of 439 euros, while the second option comes with 8 GB random memory and 256 GB storage space at a price of 539 euros.
These new numbers represent a clear increase in prices compared to what the company offered last year. To illustrate the size of this increase, we find that the previous Galaxy A36 phone was launched in Europe with a version that included 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space at an initial price of only 379 euros, which reflects a clear shift in the price strategy.
It seems that the Galaxy A57 phone will witness the same new price strategy, as it will be available with a standard 8 GB random access memory with two options for storage space. The first option with a storage capacity of 128 GB will be offered at a price of 539 euros, while the larger version that includes a storage space of 256 GB will be priced at 609 euros to meet the needs of users looking for more space.
As with the smaller version, Galaxy A57 prices reflect a significant increase of €60 compared to the previous generation. The basic version of the Galaxy A56 phone was launched in the market at a price of 479 euros, and these identical leaks confirm Samsung’s intention to raise the prices of upcoming mid-range phones in general.
