New reports coming from China revealed advanced support for smart pens in upcoming foldable phones, as both the Honor Magic V6 and Oppo Find N6 are expected to come with new generation stylus technology.
The Smart Pikachu leaker indicated that these devices will adopt what he described as “multi-spectral support” for smart pens, without going into precise details about the nature of this technology.
However, expectations suggest that this development will include adding new sensors inside the pen to improve writing accuracy, support more pressure levels, and monitor multiple angles of use, in addition to the feature of tracking the pen while flying over the screen.

In the same context, the new pens are expected to provide better performance in terms of reducing response time, improving the palm ignore feature, and raising the level of overall accuracy, as well as introducing features supported by artificial intelligence compared to current solutions.
In terms of launch, the Honor Magic V6 phone was confirmed to be officially presented during the MWC Barcelona exhibition next month, while the Oppo Find N6 is expected to appear in March.
The two phones are expected to be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, with batteries with a capacity of approximately 7000 mAh, and 200-megapixel main cameras.
