Lawyer Khaled Hindawi revealed the defense Director of Sheikh Zayed Orphanage The accused was involved in a human trafficking incident with a businessman by facilitating some financial transactions by the first accused of the victim, details of the case.
Lawyer Khaled Hindawi said during a live broadcast on Cairo 24 that his client is the second accused in the case in his capacity as the director of the Sheikh Zayed Orphanage, which was inhabited by the young victims in the case, and that the businessman who was the first accused in the case was the one who came to the home and asked to take care of the young people – the victims – and specifically all their material requirements and personal expenses.

Hindawi continued: The first accused businessman was officially transferring the children’s money through a bank, which is their monthly expenses, with the exception of some amounts that he was transferring on the home director’s InstaPay unofficially, and those amounts were as a gift as a purchase for the children.
Hindawi added: The director of the home provided proof that all the transfers that were made on his personal account were disbursed to the children without receiving any sums of money from the businessman, with the exception of the amounts that the children received in cash.
Hindawi concluded, during his interview with Cairo 24, that his client expressed his good intentions to the investigation authorities when he allowed himself to inspect all his bank balances or anything he owned, which proved that he only had small amounts in one of the bank accounts and that he had no property. It was also found that he was from a middle-class family due to his reliance on himself after the death of his parents in an accident.
