RedMagic is preparing to launch a new semi-leading gaming phone in the Chinese market under the name RedMagic 11 Air. During the recent period, the company revealed the design of the device, the type of processor, and provided teasers about its performance, before now officially announcing the battery details.

RedMagic explained that the phone will come with a 7,000 mAh battery, which represents a noticeable upgrade compared to the previous generation. In addition, the device will support 120W fast charging, surpassing the 80W support in the previous version.

Regarding performance during charging, the company confirmed that the “Bypass Charging” technology in various usage scenarios will ensure that gaming performance is maintained without a noticeable decrease even when the phone is connected to the charger.

For his part, Jiang Zhao, General Manager and Product Manager at RedMagic, stated that the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor in the 11 Air phone is capable of “surpassing” the performance of the Dimensity 9500 in terms of stability in performance, and not just in terms of raw power.

Previous promotions also revealed the average frame rates in a number of games, with promises of providing a strong and stable original gaming experience.

In addition, one of the teaser clips highlighted the phone’s performance in simulating computer games, as RedMagic confirms that the built-in simulation tool allows the phone to be turned into a portable gaming device with just one click.

On the other hand, the company has not yet announced the official price or final availability date, but the launch seems close.
