Oppo has officially confirmed its support for the Quick Share feature compatible with AirDrop on Android devices, making it easier and more secure to share files between its phones and Apple devices.

This announcement comes after Google launched the feature first for Pixel 10 phones and then expanded it to include other devices, with the recent confirmation that Android phones manufactured by multiple companies support the new Quick Share.

The Find X9 and Find X9 Pro will receive a software update this month to enable AirDrop compatibility, while the Find X9 Ultra will soon join.

Once updated, users will be able to transfer files between Oppo devices and iOS, iPadOS and macOS systems directly, without the need to install third-party applications, improving cross-platform compatibility.

Oppo previously relied on the O+Connect app to share files with iPhones, but this option required installing the app on the other phone, while Quick Share provides a simpler and smoother experience for users. The feature was developed in cooperation with Google and MediaTek to ensure performance and efficiency.
