Amazon announced today that Amazon Prime Day will launch on October 13 and will continue until October 14.

Amazon says the two-day shopping event will feature “more than a million deals and discounts across every category,” including brands like Panasonic, Roborock, Keurig, Under Armour, Coleman, Adidas, Lacoste, Marvel, Ticwatch and more.

Amazon aims to support small businesses on its platform by motivating customers to buy from them in the period leading up to Prime Day. Starting today until October 12, Prime members will receive a $10 credit that they can use on Prime Day by spending $10 on some small businesses on Amazon.

The company is also committed to spending more than $100 million promoting small businesses during Amazon Prime Day and the holiday season.

Starting today, there are also some discounts launched for everyone. Amazon usually hosts Prime Day in July, but it was postponed this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This event is usually a huge source of income for the company – analysts estimate that Amazon sold more than $6 billion worth of products on the two days of Amazon Prime.

Amazon has been offering great discounts on its own devices over the past Prime days, so it may be worth waiting until this year’s event if you want to get a new Kindle or Amazon Echo e-reader.

Amazon has just unveiled a wide range of new devices, however, most of them won’t ship until after Prime Day, so it’s worth keeping that in mind when shopping.

Prime Day will start at 10am KSA 11 UAE time on Tuesday, October 13 and will be held in the US, UK, UAE, Spain, Singapore, Netherlands, Mexico, Luxembourg, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, China, Canada, Belgium, Austria, Australia, Turkey and Brazil.
