During the 2026 Mobile World Congress, Motorola expanded its accessories ecosystem by launching the Moto Buds 2 and Moto Buds 2 Plus, coinciding with the unveiling of new devices such as the Edge 70 Fusion.
The two headphones reflect a remarkable collaboration with Bose in sound engineering, and with Pantone in color design, in addition to incorporating features powered by artificial intelligence.
Moto Buds 2 Plus offers a class-leading audio experience, as it relies on an in-ear design with silicone tips to support an active noise cancellation system capable of reducing ambient noise up to 55 dB. The sound is driven by two 11mm dynamic drivers, delivering a clear balance between deep bass and pure high frequencies.
The headset supports high-resolution audio, Spatial Audio, and Dolby Atmos technology, and also adds the Dolby Head Tracking feature, which creates a 360-degree surround sound field when paired with compatible Motorola Edge phones.

It also employs artificial intelligence technologies for simultaneous translation during conversations, in addition to an advanced microphone system to improve call clarity. The operating time reaches 9 continuous hours, and extends to 40 hours with the charging case that supports wireless charging.
As for the standard Moto Buds 2, they adopt a different combination that combines an 11 mm dynamic driver with a 6 mm tweeter. Despite its lower price, it maintains a 55 dB dynamic ANC system, and supports transparency mode to enhance awareness of the surroundings.
Despite the absence of some of the tracking features found in the Plus version, the standard version excels in battery life, as it provides up to 11 hours of operation on a single charge, and up to 48 hours with the charging case. It also includes a six-microphone system to ensure high-quality voice capture during calls.
Motorola has confirmed pricing in Europe, with a global rollout expected soon. The price of the Moto Buds 2 Plus is set at 149.90 euros, while the price of the Moto Buds 2 starts at 79.90 euros.
