Motorola is preparing to launch pre-orders for the new Razr Fold phone, which is its first version with the foldable book design, after months of hints and rumors about the release date.
Motorola’s Twitter accounts in the UK revealed that pre-orders will begin in “15 days”, i.e. on April 11, which is earlier than many expected, especially for the FIFA special edition that was unveiled at MWC with the phone’s software.
Although leaks about the Razr Fold have been going on for about three months, the company has not set a final release date yet. As the launch date approaches, it appears that pre-order may be geographically limited or a prelude to the full release later, but it clearly indicates that the phone’s arrival is imminent.
Motorola has confirmed that the price of the Razr Fold in Europe will be €1,999, which includes the Motorola Pen Ultra stylus, and the UK launch is expected to provide a clearer idea of pricing and release in other regions such as the US.
