LG announced the return of its famous Wallpaper TV under the transparent Signature OLED T name during CES 2026 in Las Vegas on January 5, 2026, and it is the first version to be sold commercially after displaying prototypes in previous years. The device features a 77-inch transparent OLED display that allows you to see what’s behind it when turned off, making it look like a glass panel when in Always-On Display mode to view images or information.
The TV runs on the advanced webOS system, with support for 4K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, and OLED technology for perfect blacks and vivid colors when viewing regular content. LG has removed the obligatory external sound bar that was present on previous models, allowing users to choose a separate sound system, with Dolby Atmos supported internally through built-in speakers. It comes with a Zero Connect Box wireless module to transmit image and audio without cables, with a distance of up to 10 meters.
The TV mounts directly to the wall to look like part of the decor, with a thickness of less than 1cm in transparent mode. LG has not announced a specific price, but it is expected to exceed 20,000 US dollars due to the cost of the transparent technology, with it being available in the markets during the second half of 2026, starting in South Korea and then global markets.
This TV is seen as a luxury step into the home display market, especially for modern homes looking to integrate technology into their interior design without taking up space.
