Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 11 DecemberLenovo, in cooperation with Alat Company, the Human Resources Development Fund, and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, launched a new talent development program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Estidam). The program aims to recruit 100 Saudi graduates to work in the Lenovo factory in Riyadh, in addition to other locations around the world, in order to gain advanced practical experience that combines theoretical and practical training in the fields of engineering, technology and manufacturing, with the aim of providing participants with the necessary skills to work in the advanced industrial sector in the Kingdom. This initiative directly supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in the field of industrial growth and development of local talent.
This focus on empowering young Saudi talent aims to diversify the Saudi economy, increase local job opportunities, and build a sustainable, knowledge-based industrial sector. Lenovo’s commitment to nurturing Saudi talent and expanding local manufacturing capabilities embodies its long-term partnership with the Kingdom and its role in shaping an active, innovative and competitive industrial environment.

The program will be funded by the Human Resources Development Fund and will be supervised and strategically directed by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources. Lenovo worked to develop the training program through technical resources and operational support, while Alat Company, as a strategic partner of Lenovo, will contribute to supporting the continuity of the program and creating ongoing efforts to empower Saudi talent within the initiative to develop human capabilities in advanced manufacturing.
During their four-month training period, graduates will rotate into key roles in Lenovo’s global supply chain, gaining hands-on experience in the areas of production and operational engineering, quality control and digital operations. Lenovo’s supply chain spans more than 30 manufacturing sites in 10 markets in the Asia-Pacific, EMEA, North and South America regions, andIt was recently ranked eighth in Gartner’s global supply chain rankingshighlighting Lenovo’s leadership in operational excellence. The curriculum is designed to meet international standards and includes both theoretical lectures and practical exercises at Lenovo’s regional and global facilities.
