Xiaomi is making a strong comeback this year to launch a new foldable phone with a book-like design, after skipping the release of the Mix Fold 5 during the year 2025. Although the brand name that this device will bear is not yet clear, a new leak provided clearer details about the expected date of its launch, which brings to mind the Mix Fold series that Xiaomi presented in recent years.
Reliable leaks revealed that Xiaomi was initially planning to launch the phone during next May. This foldable device was supposed to appear for the first time alongside the Xiaomi 17 Max phone, which is expected to be a larger and more advanced version of the Xiaomi 17 phone and equipped with a 200-megapixel camera.
The source explained that the new planned date for launching the foldable phone will be early next July, which is consistent with previous reports and indicates the possibility of Xiaomi overtaking Samsung by launching its device before the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold8.
