Xiaomi launched its new economical wireless headphones, Redmi Buds 8 Active, in a number of European markets, weeks after they appeared in previous leaks.
The company first unveiled the headphones in China in three colors: matte black, milky white, and transparent blue.
In a move that indicates broader expansion plans, Xiaomi has listed the headphones on its global website, which confirms the imminent launch of them in other global markets, although the company has not yet announced the full launch schedule.
The Redmi Buds 8 Active comes below the Redmi Buds 8 Lite model in the company’s lineup, and includes audio drivers with a diameter of 14.2 mm covered with a layer of titanium, with a frequency range between 20 Hz and 20 kHz. The headphones also support Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, in addition to the ability to customize the audio equalizer (EQ).

On the other hand, the headphones are limited to supporting AAC and SBC codecs via Bluetooth, and do not provide active noise isolation. However, it offers a battery life of up to 7 hours of use on a single charge, and up to 37 hours when using the charging case.
The headphones are already available in several European countries such as Austria, Germany, France, Italy and Spain at a price of about 19.99 euros, and they can also be found from some sellers in the United States at a price of approximately 33.99 dollars.
