During the MWC 2026 events in Barcelona, ZTE revealed several new smartphones, including the Neo 5 GT, which comes as a successor to the Neo 3 GT phone released last year, in addition to the larger model, the Neo 5 Max.

In the Neo 5 GT, the company focused on the gaming experience, providing it with a small active cooling system, backlighting, and a design that highlights some details of the internal circuits to give it a professional feel directed at gamers.

It also replaced the previous Unisoc T9100 processor with the Dimensity 7400 processor, giving the phone a performance improvement estimated at about 20% according to performance tests, with support for up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage capacity.

ZTE enhanced the experience with a huge 6,210 mAh battery that supports 80-watt charging, along with a vapor chamber cooling system and shoulder control buttons dedicated to gaming.

As for the screen, the phone includes a 6.8-inch panel with a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a brightness of up to 4,500 lumens, which makes it suitable for use in various lighting conditions.

In addition to the phone, the company also introduced the Nubia Gamepad 2 for those who prefer a more traditional control experience. The Nubia Neo 5 GT is scheduled to start selling in European markets starting April 2026, at a starting price of 399 euros.
