New leaks revealed details of the user experience in the foldable iPhone that Apple is working on, which is expected to be launched later this year.
According to a report published by Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, the phone will offer a wide internal screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio, with a user experience closer to iPads in terms of interface and application management.
The internal display will also support iPad-like layouts, including running two apps side by side. The information indicates that the screen size will be close to the size of the iPad mini, which prompted Apple to develop new designs for applications and navigation elements, such as side menus similar to those in iPadOS.
However, the device will not support full multi-windowing as on iPads, and it will not be able to run iPad applications. The phone will still run iOS, offering simpler multitasking tools compared to the more advanced interface in iPadOS 26.

On the hardware side, the phone is expected to use a new screen technology that significantly reduces the appearance of the internal screen fold, while improving the panel’s durability. The leaks also indicate the presence of a front camera with a hole-punch design in the external screen.
The phone may also come with two rear cameras, in addition to another front camera inside the internal screen, in addition to a Touch ID sensor integrated into the power button. Other rumors indicate that Apple may launch its first foldable phone, called the iPhone Ultra.
