A new research note issued by GF Securities analyst Jeff Poe confirms that Apple intends to price the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at the same prices as the previous generation without any increase. Bo is known for his accuracy in Apple-related supply chain leaks, which gives this information a degree of credibility.

This news comes at a time when the smartphone market is witnessing increasing pressure on prices, especially with a large portion of memory chip production heading towards artificial intelligence data centers, which has caused component costs to rise.

According to the report, Apple is focusing heavily on cost management to maintain price stability. Information also indicates that the company is negotiating with both Samsung and SK Hynix to obtain better supply deals for memory chips.

In return, the memo expects that Apple will be able to reduce the costs of some other basic components, such as screens and camera modules, to compensate for any potential increase in memory prices.
