The iPhone 17e is expected to be unveiled soon during the upcoming spring season. New rumors from China reported today that the phone will come with a 6.1-inch screen with a 60 Hz refresh rate, and the Dynamic Island feature, which means there is a punch hole instead of the iPhone 16e’s protrusion, in addition to an improved A19 chip with lower performance compared to the version that other iPhone 17 devices work with.

The iPhone 17e will, of course, be the cheapest device in the iPhone 17 family. Although these details were previously circulated as rumors, the agreement of many sources around them increases the possibility of their being true. However, some previous rumors suggest that the display may be quite similar to the previous generation display with a notch, while maintaining thinner bezels.

The iPhone 17e is also expected to support MagSafe accessories, unlike the iPhone 16e. Samsung is expected to begin mass production of the phone in the coming weeks.
