HP announced the expansion of the OmniBook series with the launch of two new laptops, the OmniBook
OmniBook This model comes with a 14-inch touch screen with an aspect ratio of 16:10, and options reach an OLED panel with a 3K resolution (2880 x 1800) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, with a brightness of up to 500 nits in SDR mode and jumps to 1,100 nits in HDR content, and the device supports LPDDR5x memory of up to 32 GB and storage of up to 2 TB, with batteries ranging in capacity from 59 Wh and 70 Wh support fast charging (50% in 45 minutes), and the weight starts at about 1.4 kg.

OmniBook This model brings the same concept to a 16-inch size with a 91% screen-to-body ratio, offers 3K OLED display options and a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, features larger batteries of up to 76 Wh in some configurations (compared to 68 Wh in last year’s model), weighs just over 1.9 kg, and supports the same processor and memory options, while adding Thunderbolt 4 support in Intel configurations.

In terms of connectivity, both devices support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0, and include various ports including HDMI 2.1, USB-A and USB-C, in addition to a 5 MP webcam with IR technology. While HP has reviewed these specifications in detail, it has not yet disclosed prices or details of regional availability, indicating that configurations will vary depending on the market.
