Hisense unveiled its all-new 163MX RGBY MicroLED Display during CES 2026. This huge model that can be used as a TV won the “Best of Innovation Award” at the exhibition, and this distinguished launch comes as a continuation of the company’s journey after launching the 163-inch UX MicroLED TV in China in 2025.
The 163MX screen is the first model from the brand to adopt the new MicroLED RGBY technology, which adds yellow color to the traditional color matrix (red, green, and blue). This technology was specifically designed to fill the critical spectral gap between 500 and 600 nanometers, resulting in tangible benefits such as significantly improving color accuracy, as the company confirmed that the screen covers up to 100% of the BT.2020 color range to provide an ultra-realistic visual experience.
This optical giant features a streamlined design with an ultra-thin body that does not exceed 32 mm (about 1.26 inches) thick, which allows it to be installed on the wall almost completely flat with little or no gap to blend seamlessly with the surrounding environment. While the details regarding peak brightness, contrast ratio, ports and operating system are still uncertain, everyone is awaiting the announcement of the launch date and official price, especially when compared to the company’s largest current models in the American market, whose prices reach astronomical numbers.
