During CES 2026, Razer unveiled Forge AI Dev Workstation, a workstation dedicated to AI developers, designed to run large language models locally, providing a higher level of security and reducing reliance on cloud servers and their costs.
These stations are based on Intel Xeon W or AMD Threadripper Pro processors with up to 96 cores, with support for up to four Nvidia RTX Pro or AMD Radeon Pro graphics cards.
It also supports up to eight DDR RDIMMs, four PCIe Gen5 M.2 NVMe storage units, eight SATA disks, and a 2000-watt power supply. Cooling is handled by a system that relies on four 120 mm fans to ensure effective airflow.
Razer also allows multiple Forge AI Dev Workstation units to be connected via two 10GbE ports to form powerful compute clusters, with the ability to mount them inside racks to save space in professional work environments.
The company asks those interested to contact them directly for custom specifications and accurate pricing, while these solutions remain aimed at the professional segment who can invest in high-cost hardware.
In contrast, running miniature AI models remains a suitable option for users with less powerful devices.
