Chinese startup AgiBot announced two new humanoid robots during the CES 2026 exhibition in Las Vegas on January 5, 2026. They feature advanced interactive capabilities with the help of artificial intelligence, such as giving directions and learning TikTok dances from users. The announcement is a major step for the company, which was founded in 2023 and seeks to take on companies like Tesla with its Optimus robot.
The first robot is 1.75 meters high and weighs 65 kg, with 43 degrees of movement throughout the body, and 20 degrees of movement for each hand, allowing precise, human-like movements. The robot supports learning movements by watching TikTok videos, where the artificial intelligence accurately analyzes and imitates dances, in addition to giving directions in public places or answering simple questions. The second robot is smaller and designed for home or educational use, with similar interaction and learning capabilities.
The two bots rely on a multimodal AI model that operates partially locally for privacy, with cloud connectivity for updates, and a battery that lasts up to 6 hours of continuous interaction. At the show, the robot demonstrated its ability to learn a TikTok dance in minutes and execute it seamlessly, as well as guide visitors on the exhibition floor.
AgiBot has not announced specific prices for the two robots, but the price of the large robot is expected to range between 20,000 and 50,000 US dollars, with limited availability in the Chinese markets first and then global during the second half of 2026.
The two robots are seen as a step towards consumer humanoid robots, with a focus on everyday interaction and entertainment rather than just industrial tasks.
