New leaks indicate that Apple’s first foldable phone may not bear the currently circulating name, iPhone Fold, but rather may reach the market under the name iPhone Ultra.

This comes after many years of rumors and expectations about the company’s development of a foldable phone, with expectations that it will be revealed during the fall of this year alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

According to a source from China, this phone may be part of a new series of products bearing the Ultra brand, as Apple is also expected to unveil the AirPods Ultra and MacBook Ultra during the same period.

Leaks indicate that the price of the iPhone Ultra may start at more than 10,000 Chinese yuan, equivalent to about $1,446, while the price of the higher version may exceed 20,000 yuan, equivalent to approximately $2,893. It seems that the starting price is lower than expected, despite the potentially large difference between the lowest and highest version in the series.

As for the AirPods Ultra, they are rumored to be an advanced version of the AirPods Pro that may come equipped with cameras, while the MacBook Ultra is expected to be a new laptop that adopts an OLED touch screen for the first time. In general, the Ultra designation indicates that these products may represent the highest price category within each category that Apple offers.

However, this information remains unconfirmed rumors so far, which means that the final details may differ upon the official announcement.
