ZTE has launched a new smart display in China that is similar to LG’s StanbyME display. The new FreeScreen F10 screen joins the list of portable smart screens equipped with a wheeled base, but it features some exclusive features that are not available in the competing LG device, as it comes with a SIM card slot to support 5G networks and a built-in battery that provides users with up to 12 hours of continuous use.
This screen features a 27-inch LCD panel and supports a display resolution of 1080p with a brightness of up to 300 nits and a refresh rate of 100 Hz. The screen provides an aspect ratio of 16:9 with support for touch up to 10 points and color coverage of 85%, and supports the ability to rotate at an angle of 90 degrees with a design with slim side edges to provide an excellent viewing experience. Its performance relies on a Unisoc T8300 processor with 6 GB of random memory and 128 GB of storage space, in addition to support for dual Wi-Fi networks, Bluetooth 5.0 technology, and an 8-megapixel camera with With a privacy cover for video calls.

The screen is equipped with two 5-watt speakers and a 20-watt subwoofer, and includes a Type-C port, a full-size USB 2.0 port, and an HDMI 2.0 port to connect various devices. The screen is superior to its 9500 mAh battery, providing 8 to 12 hours of work compared to the StanbyME 2 screen, which is sufficient for only four hours. The total height of the screen is 158.4 cm, with a weight of 18 kg, which drops to 6 kg without the base. It is available at a launch price of 3,499 Chinese yuan, or about 508 US dollars, and the price decreases with national support within China to reach 2,999 Chinese yuan. That is, about 436 US dollars.
