YouTube has raised YouTube Premium subscription prices again in the United States, where the increase has already taken effect for new subscribers, while existing subscribers will notice the new prices starting in early June.
The individual plan is now priced at $15.99 per month or $159.99 per year, up from $13.99 and $139.99, respectively. The price of the family plan also increased to $26.99 per month from $22.99, while the student plan increased to $8.99 per month from $7.99.

The increase also included the recently relaunched YouTube Premium Lite subscription, increasing its price to $8.99 per month.
The full subscription offers removal of ads, background video playback, downloading, and access to YouTube Music, while the Lite version does not include YouTube Music and may still show ads within music clips, Shorts, and search results.
