Xiaomi is preparing to hold a relatively large launch event in China, and the Redmi Turbo 5 Max phone is expected to be one of the most prominent products that will be revealed during this event. After publishing several teaser materials recently, the company has now confirmed a set of important details about this upcoming mid-range phone.
As expected, Xiaomi confirmed that the Turbo 5 Max will be one of the first phones to run on the new Dimensity 9500s processor from MediaTek, which is a processor aimed at the upper middle class. According to promotional information, this processor outperforms the non-Elite version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.
According to the company’s statements, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max achieves a result of up to 3.61 million points on the AnTuTu V11 performance test.

Xiaomi also points out that this number puts the Dimensity 9500s very close to the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor used in the OnePlus 15.
In addition, the company confirms that the phone will provide a smooth gaming experience, with average performance reaching about 120 frames per second in MOBA games, 60 frames per second in RPG games, and 120 frames per second in shooting games.
However, Xiaomi has not yet revealed the official launch date or the rest of the full specifications. However, it previously hinted that the price of the phone in the Chinese market will be in the category of 2.5K yuan, which is approximately equivalent to $359. The phone is expected to reach global markets under the name Poco X8 Pro Max.
