The “Song Pro” plug-in hybrid model is one of the company’s most prominent offerings, combining energy efficiency with sporty driving performance.
Advanced hybrid propulsion system
The car relies on a plug-in hybrid system, which combines a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a power of 101 horsepower, and an electric motor that generates an additional 160 horsepower. This system enables the car to accelerate from standstill to a speed of 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds, with a maximum speed of 180 km/h. The higher categories provide an electric range of up to 115 km.
Comprehensive safety with advanced assistance technologies
BYD was keen to provide Song Pro with an integrated set of safety systems, including: front, side and curtain airbags, anti-lock braking systems (ABS) and electronic brake force distribution (EBD), in addition to the electronic stability system (ESP).
Assistive technologies also include blind spot monitoring, rear collision alert, a 360-degree surround-view camera, hill start assist, and lane departure warning.
A modern sports identity from the outside and inside
The exterior design highlights the sporty character of the car through front and rear LED lights, 18- or 19-inch aluminum wheels, a panoramic sunroof (in higher trim levels), and a rear spoiler.
Inside, the cabin offers a central touchscreen media screen and a digital driving screen, with an entertainment audio system and leather seats that accommodate five passengers. Equipment also includes an electric driver’s seat with heating and cooling functions (in higher categories), and a multi-function steering wheel wrapped in leather.
Through the “Song Pro” model, BYD aims to provide a balanced option that combines sporty dynamism, consumption efficiency, and modern technologies, which enhances its competitiveness in the global hybrid car sector.
