Despite the end of the World Phone Show in Barcelona, Vivo continues to reveal surprises of its X300 Ultra phone in China. After the company recently focused on the details of the main camera with a resolution of 200 megapixels and a 35 mm lens, attention has now turned to the second camera that comes with the same great resolution, as the main focus has become focused on providing a level of optical stabilization that is comparable to professional photography equipment.
Product Manager Han Boxiao shared exciting details about the new camera developed in cooperation with Zeiss, which is based on Samsung’s advanced HP0 sensor. This sensor represents the fifth generation of 200-megapixel sensors, and is very close to the ISOCELL HPE version, but it provides exceptional results that clearly excel in color accuracy, autofocus, and wide dynamic range.
For the first time, the company achieved CIPA 7.0 professional stabilization level with the new zoom unit, which represents a huge leap compared to last year’s CIPA 5.5 level. The new lenses are distinguished by their unique ability to stabilize at an angle of up to 3 degrees, which is an unprecedented number in the world of smartphones, where the usual rates range between only 0.7 and 1 degree, thus doubling the stabilization performance compared to the previous version, the X200 Ultra, by about three times.
This revolutionary technology ensures that the stabilization system operates extremely efficiently even when using the new 4.7x telephoto extender, which raises the equivalent focal length to 1600mm. The company showcases this amazing optical flexibility through explanatory videos that confirm the phone’s ability to take completely stable images in the most difficult shooting conditions, which opens new horizons for those who love photography from long distances.
The company was not satisfied with these powerful updates, but also promised to provide motion tracking at a rate of 60 frames per second, exceeding the traditional standard in smartphones of only 30 frames. This advanced feature ensures extreme smoothness in photographing fast-moving objects, making tracking and photographing animals using the zoom lens an easy and enjoyable task that meets the ambitions of content makers and professionals.
