Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao revealed more details about the upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra phone, which is the flagship phone dedicated to photography in cooperation with Zeiss. This information came via the Weibo platform, where the company recently focused on the capabilities of the 200-megapixel telephoto camera.
Vivo explained that the phone will support a new Teleconverter accessory called G2, with a lighter weight and smaller size, as it weighs about 153 grams, that is, 27% lighter compared to the previous generation. This accessory works with up to 14 different shooting modes, including Live Photo and multiple video modes.

When this accessory is attached, the 85mm telephoto camera transforms into the equivalent of a 400mm optical zoom lens, providing high telephoto capabilities suitable for wildlife or bird photography. Han Boxiao shared the first photographic sample showing the capabilities of this system, as the phone shows a zoom capability of up to about 70x.

The phone also comes with a 200-megapixel main camera with a larger 1/1.12-inch sensor and an f/1.85 lens aperture, which is slightly slower than the previous generation but adopts a larger sensor and higher resolution. A sample photo taken with a 1600 mm lens shows that the phone is able to provide good results even with the use of additional digital zoom.

According to current comparisons, the zoom ability of the Vivo X300 Ultra is among the strongest in smartphones for the year 2026, superior to some competitors in this category.
